Mouth Restoration FAQ's

Mouth restoration, also known as full mouth reconstruction or rehabilitation, is a comprehensive dental treatment approach that aims to restore the health, function, and aesthetics of the entire mouth. It involves a combination of restorative, cosmetic, and prosthetic dental procedures tailored to address a range of oral health issues and achieve optimal oral function and appearance.

Mouth restoration may be necessary for individuals with multiple dental problems or complex oral health issues, such as extensive tooth decay, gum disease, tooth loss, bite misalignment, or dental trauma. It may also be recommended for individuals with congenital or developmental dental abnormalities or those seeking comprehensive smile makeovers to enhance their overall oral health and appearance.

The specific treatments included in a mouth restoration plan vary depending on the individual’s unique dental needs and treatment goals. Common treatments may include dental fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, orthodontic treatment, and cosmetic procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, or dental bonding.

The duration of mouth restoration treatment varies depending on the complexity of the case, the number of procedures involved, and the individual’s response to treatment. In some cases, mouth restoration may be completed in a few appointments over several weeks or months, while more complex cases may require a longer treatment timeline extending over several months or even years.

The extent of insurance coverage for mouth restoration depends on the individual’s dental insurance plan and the specific treatments included in the restoration plan. Some dental insurance plans may cover certain restorative and prosthetic procedures, while others may have limitations or exclusions for elective or cosmetic treatments. Patients should check with their insurance provider to understand their coverage and any out-of-pocket expenses.
